MANAGING FORGOTTEN PASSWORDS
This section of
the document outlines the process and steps required if you have:

Forgotten your password to the JIRAN system; or
·
Wish to simply change your password
HOW DO I RESET
MY PASSWORD?
1. Click
on FORGOTTEN
PASSWORD link on the JIRAN system
main menu.
2.
The system will prompt the screen to
enter your email credentials:
a.
Email address
b.
Word Verification
3.
Click on OK to
register the request to reset the password.
4.
The system will issue an email notification
to your registered email address for confirmation of your registration.
5.
To continue with the password reset,
you can opt to do the following:
a.
Click on the first link that
auto-populates the confirmation code; or
b.
Click on the second link that requires
you to enter (copy & paste) the provided confirmation code.
6.
The links from the password reset
email confirmation will bring you to the RESET PASSWORD screen.
7.
Enter the following information to
complete the registration:
a.
The email address
b.
The confirmation code. This value is
automatically populated if you choose the click on the first link provided in
the password reset confirmation email
c.
The verification code displayed
8.
Click on OK to
complete the process.
9.
Once confirmed, you will be prompted
the password change screen for you to enter your preferred password. Click SAVE to proceed.
10.
Upon successful password maintenance,
you will be successfully logged into the system.
HOW DO I CHANGE MY PASSWORD?
1.
Click on the CHANGE PASSWORD link on the JIRAN system main page.
2.
On the CHANGE PASSWORD screen, enter the following values:
a.
Current password, i.e. the last known
password to access the system
b.
New password, i.e. the new password
value to be used
c.
Confirm password, i.e. the re-entry of
the new password value again for confirmation
3.
Click on SAVE
to save the record.
