FEE DEFINITIONS

ABOUT FEE DEFINITIONS

The FEES DEFINITION maintenance facilitates the maintenance of the various fees types chargeable to Residents Association members.

 

HOW TO SEARCH FOR A FEES RECORD?

1.       Click on the FEE DEFINITIONS  function from the JIRAN system main menu.

2.       Once in this function, define the following search criteria to retrieve the fee(s) record desired:

Filter

Denotes a free text search criteria.  Partial search is supported.

 

3.       Click on SEARCH once you have defined the required search criteria.

HOW TO CREATE A NEW FEES RECORD?

1.    Click on the FEE DEFINITIONS  function from the JIRAN system main menu.

2.    From the FEES DEFINITION LISTING screen, click on NEW FEE DEFINITION to initiate the creation of a new fees record.

3.    The system will display the FEES DEFINITION DETAILS screen for you to enter the property’s details.

4.    Enter the following information to create a new fees record:

DATA FIELDS

DESCRIPTION

Fee Class

Denotes the type of fee to be created, e.g. parking fees, access cards, etc

Description

Full description of the fee created

Fee Type

Denotes the classification of the fee as either an inventory, unit or other

Inventory Class

Not Applicable

Dwelling Type

Denotes whether the property is a banglo, semi-detached or terrace property

Charge Amount

Denotes the fee amount to be charged to residents

Min Payment Amount

Denotes the minimum payment amount acceptable in the system

Period Type

Denotes the charge period, i.e. monthly, quarterly, yearly or other manually defined period

Effective From

Fee effective from period

Effective To

Fee effective to period

Charge Date of Month

Denotes the date of the month the fees are charged to residents

Due Days

Denotes when the fees become due for payment

Allow Partial

Denotes if partial payment on the fee is permitted

Notify Residents

Denotes if residents are to be informed on the imposition of the fees

Active

Denotes whether the fee record is active in the system

5.    Click on SAVE to create the fee record.

 

HOW TO UPDATE AN EXISTING FEES RECORD?

1.    Click on the FEE DEFINITIONS  function from the JIRAN system main menu.

2.    Enter the required search criteria to retrieve the desired record or click on the listed record.

3.    Select  the record to be updated.

4.    Make the required changes and click on SAVE to update the record.
