
As any system,
access to functionalities in JIRAN system is controlled to ensure proper
segregation of duties.
In JIRAN, this
is achieved by managing the assignment of security profiles to different user
types, e.g. Security Administrators, Residents, etc.
These security
profiles contain one or more tasks that grant you access to JIRAN system
functionalities.
1.
Click on the ACCESS RIGHTS
function from the JIRAN
main menu.
2.
To view the list of security profiles pre-defined in the system, do the
following:
a.
Select the APPLICATION, e.g. JIRAN1.0.
b.
Click on SEARCH.
3.
You can click on the search results
to view the details of task
codes assigned to that security profile.
1.
From your search result, click on NEW PROFILE to initiate the creation of a new security
profile.
2.
Define the following to complete the
security profile creation:
a.
The profile code.
b.
The profile name.
c.
The task assignment to be assigned to
the profile (left column to the right column via the ADD command
button).
3.
Use the REMOVE
command button to remove any task codes from the profile (right column
to the left column).
4.
Click on SAVE
to save the assignments.
1.
Select the
application to view the available profiles.
2.
Click on the desired record
to view the details of the
profiles.
3.
Amend the
following:
a.
Profile name.
IPlease note that you are not allowed
to update the profile code. If the profile code needs to be amended, you will
need to delete and recreate the record.
b.
Task code
assignments, i.e. either add-on or remove the task assignments as deemed
appropriate.
4.
Click on SAVE
to save the profile record.
1.
Select the
application to view the available profiles.
2.
Click on the desired record
to view the details of the
profiles.
3.
Click on DELETE
to remove the profile record.
INote: Deletion of record
will be prevented if the profile record is being actively used in the system.
